Wesley Gonzalez' Christmas offering for 2020

"I wrote Red Man Is Back Again (With A Lonely Dose Of Pain) on Christmas Day 2019, My family had a traumatic year and decided to have a meal at a pub and go our separate ways, It was an awkward day as I was trying to reconcile with a family member and we hadn't spoken in a long time, which was ultimately unfruitful. I went home and wrote this recalling the awkwardness and loneliness that comes with Christmas, I thought about the dysfunctional families pretending they didnt hate each other all over the world and how hard to ignore it was especially as that's ultimately what I was trying to do myself. This year has been painful and I'm sure the holidays will be too, so my gift to you this year is an opportunity to wallow. Having said that I do wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and that the absolute headfuck we've all been through brings everyone together this year."
